Bareboat Charters are for people that are able to handle a boat on their own without a hired crew. The skipper must have the knowledge and experience to competently handle a yacht in the sailing conditions at your charter destination. Charter comapnies may require that the skipper has an RYA Day Skipper qualification, and a VHF Radio Licence, but it is best to check with the holiday provider.
