On The Water - Dartmouth

Details

A highlight in the South West’s social events calendar, On The Water – Dartmouth invites people of all ages to try an wide-range of water based activity in the beauty of Dartmouth Harbour.

This is the opportunity for you to find out more about boating and try one of the boats that we will have on the water for the two days. The event is entirely free and is open to all ages (children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult).

You don't need any boating experience, our experts are on hand to help you. To book your place you just  need to come to the reception unit on the Embankment, book a time slot and complete a short Safety form. All the boats are skippered by qualified or professional yachtsmen. You will be provided with lifejackets and the skipper will provide a short safety briefing before you head off. Depending on weather and tides each trip can be between 20 minutes and an hour.

The following boats will be available:

Coastworker 21 (Watermota)

Beneteau 381 (South Devon College)

Ribquest 8m RIB (Sea N Shore)
