Get active
Boating is not just a great adventure – it gets you active too.
Top Olympic sailors are some of the fittest athletes around and
“round the world” sailors burn up to 5000 calories a day!
You might not want to be that fit but just getting out on the
water will energise you and give you a sense of being alive.
Boating is so varied so you can choose your level of activity.
So instead of going to the gym or pounding the roads with the
same old view why not try boating.
To give you some guidance on how much effort you need to put in
and how much you will get out on the fitness front we asked a
sports physiologist to put our range of boating activities in order
– maximum effort and fitness at the top!
