The marine industry is very diverse and there is a huge range of opportunities available.

The industry covers a wide variety of products and services:

Whilst most of the industry is located in coastal areas there's also a thriving waterways industry based around the country's extensive network of canals, rivers and lakes.

Industry 'hot spots' include the south coast, the south west, East Anglia, Wales, west Scotland, the Midlands and the Thames Valley.
